When more than one person mentions you might be sitting on something that might be worth something, maybe get it looked at.

The St. Louis County Historical Society has arranged for Dan Sershon of Northland Estate Services and Denny Mager of Northern Specialty, both experts in antique appraisal, to be at your service from noon until 3 PM in the Great Hall. Please arrive no later than 2:30 PM to register in person.

Bring your antique/collectible item to the St. Louis County Heritage & Arts Center (506 West Michigan Street, Duluth, Minnesota) for a free appraisal on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

You may have up to two items per person for an informal oral identification and evaluation of each antique. If the piece is too large or fragile to be hand-carried, clear photographs with a description of any marks and labels will be sufficient.

Past participants have enjoyed the appraiser’s comments because you may find out more about what you have, even if it isn't worth what you thought or hoped it might be. Sometimes the interesting part is what other people bring. ARCO coffee is available while you wait.

This session is part of an on-going public education program offered by the St. Louis County Historical Society.
