Construction Update For Kwik Trip’s 28th Street Location In Superior

Steve Tanko[/caption]Here's an update on the 28th and Tower location of Kwik Trip in Superior!  As of Wednesday morning (June 11) - it looks like they've already put up the framework for what will become the convenience store's building.  This follows the placement of the underground fuel storage tanks last week.  Work has also begun at a second site near the Belknap Street Viaduct approach to the Bong Bridge - a location that formerly housed C's Lounge.  Demolition work of the old building on site started a few days ago and was still continuing this morning.

These two work sites will be joined by a third in East Superior at some point this summer - as the convenience store makes a splash-entry into the Twin Ports market.  Store locations are also in the works in Duluth.
