City Of Superior Opens Outdoor Skating Rinks For The Season

It's time to skate!  The City of Superior will once again offer outdoor skating opportunities this winter at their seven different rinks.  According to officials with the city, the outdoor rinks will open for skaters on Thursday, December 22.

The following sites will offer supervised skating for the remainder of the season:

• Allouez:  3631 East 2nd Street
• Billings Park:  18th Street and New York Avenue
• Carl Gullo:  510 26th Avenue East
• Pattison:  1016 Faxon Street
• Red Barn:  901 East 6th Street
• South End:  5902 Weeks Avenue
• Wade Bowl:  1228 Clough Avenue

Superior's city rinks are open weekdays 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and weekends 1:00 PM to 9:00PM, with one day of the week closed for flooding.  Children under the age of 18 will need to have guardians sign emergency cards.
