As you know when you listen to me on the air, or read my bio. I love Halloween and I love scary movies. Everyone is publishing their list this year of what is the best, and all the popular ones make that list. You know, The Shining, The Haunting, and The Exorcist. I like to watch some movies around this time of year that could be scary, and some that the whole family might like.

The Nightmare Before Christmas-(1993) Jack Skellington, king of Halloweentown, discovers Christmas Town, but doesn't quite understand the concept. He then tries to make it his own and learns about himself.

Corpse Bride-(2005) A groom practices his vows when a dead bride thinks she is getting married to him. Now he has to get out of it.

Edward Scissorhands-(1990) A gentle young man, who happens to have scissors for hands, falls in love with a beautiful teenage girl, good lesson about people who are different..

The Crow-(1994) Brandon Lee was killed during the making of this movie. A young couple is murdered the day before Halloween, He comes back and kills his killers and learns a life lesson.

Igor-(2008) A scientist's assistant who aspires to become a scientist himself,winds up learning why it's so hard to become one, also teaches everyone you can follow your dreams.

Hellrasier-(1987) An unfaithful wife brings back her lover who has been banished to hell. Wait till you see what she has to do to bring him back.

Prince of Darkness- (1987) A research team finds a mysterious cylinder in a deserted church. If opened, it could mean the end of the world, could it bring the devil to earth?.

The Entity- (1987) Supposedly based partially on a true story, a woman is tormented and sexually molested by an invisible demon. How do you battle something you can't see.

The Sixth Sense- (1999) A boy communicates with the dead and helps them move on. This major twist at the end changes two people's lives.

War of the Worlds (2005) Tom Cruise stars in this updated version. Aliens have been waiting to invade and now find the perfect time to take over earth, one thing they don't know helps humans gain the edge.

Signs (2002) The world looks like it's being invaded by aliens, what to do to save earth. A preacher who loses his wife puts together clues his wife told him to save his family.

Flatliners-(1990) Medical students bring themselves near death; their experiment begins to go awry when they bring back their worst nightmares..

The Lost Boys (1987) After moving to a new town, two brothers are convinced that the area is frequented by vampires, and they're right.

Ernest Scared Stupid- (1991) After a misunderstanding, Ernest P. Worrell unleashes an evil troll on Halloween. Happy Halloween Vern!!

The Mothman Prophesies- (2002) A reporter is drawn to a small West Virginia town to investigate a series of strange events,could it be a ghost, or a warning of something to come.

White Noise- (2005) An architect's desire to speak with his wife from beyond the grave, becomes an obsession with supernatural repercussions. What happens when he goes too far?

The Seventh Sign (1988) Around the world, the signs of the apocalypse--as outlined in the Book of Revelation--seem to be coming to pass. A woman

The Rapture (1991)  The Journey of A telephone operator living an empty, amoral life finds God and loses him again. Looks into the end of the world and asks some deep questions. Maybe not a family film, and not for everyone.

The Devil's Advocate (1997)-A hotshot lawyer gets more than he bargained for when he learns his new boss is Lucifer himself.

Stigmata- (1999) A priest from the Vatican is sent to Sao Paulo, Brazil to investigate the appearance of the face of the Virgin Mary on the side of a building. While there he hears of a statue of the Virgin Mary bleeding tears in a small town outside of the city. Meanwhile, a young woman in the U.S. begins to show signs of stigmata, the wounds of Christ. The priest from the Vatican links up with her and cares for her as she is increasingly afflicted by the stigmata. Her ranting and raving finally begins to make sense to the priest who starts to question what his religion has stood for for the last 1900 years.
