50 Years Ago: The Beatles Arrive In America

When the Beatles left London's Heathrow Airport on the morning on Feb. 7, 1964 -- sent off by a swarm of well-wishing fans -- they didn't know what to expect. The 20 Feet From Stardom Documentary, The Real Story of Background Singers [REVIEW] [VIDEO]

I recently read the article in Rolling Stone Magazine titled Rocks Greatest Unsung Voices by Simon Vozick-Levinson. Rolling Stone rated it at 4 stars. I rate it at 5. If your  a music fan, you no doubt are familiar with the term "background singer." Darlene Love, Mary Clayton, and Lisa Fischer to name a few of the better known. As I've always said, "a background singer can make or break a live performance." With that in mind, it's my hope you'll either rent or buy the 20 Feet From Stardom documentary.
