The public is invited to attend the Duluth Parks and Recreation Commission's monthly meeting held on Wednesday, November 13th at the Central Hillside Center. The Chester Bowl Mini-Master Plan will be discussed and the Public is asked to comment. Here are the details.
UW-Superior is hosting the inaugural "Jacket Racket" event today thru Saturday. Activities are centered around a homecoming kind of concept and are geared for the campus community and alumni to celebrate school spirit. Highlights of the three days of events include a Nearly Naked Mile fun run with clothing donations tomorrow, tailgate party before the first men’s hockey game, and a Union Bash for students. One lucky student could also win free tuition for participating in the events.
Those of you that exercise quite a few times a week will probably do well on this test. Folks like me, it is a wake up call. It became part of the Celtic celebration to give out candy, they would also dress up in costumes to confuse the dead.
