Rock and roll has lost another one of it's talented personalities; Donald "Duck" Dunn - the bassist with the group Booker T and the MG's has passed away at the age of 70.
Instrumental in the early Memphis sound of Stax Records, Dunn was probably most famous for playing with Booker T and the MG's. However, his playing was also front and center on hits for other artists - including "Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay", "Hold On I'm Coming", and others.
The nickname "Duck" came from the cartoon character.
