Tony Hart

I grew up in the Twin Cities, graduated from Champlin Park High School and as long as I can remember I wanted to be on the radio. After graduating high school I immediately went to work in Grand Forks, ND at KZLT for a few years before moving back to Minneapolis to work with Dave Ryan at KDWB. After KDWB I did nights at WXPT in Minneapolis for just over 5 years before I decided it was time for a change, so I moved up north and the rest is history! I live in Superior with my wife Mindy, daughter Rose and dog Rawko. In my free time I enjoy playing with Rose, doing home improvement projects and watching movies. I don't like winter very much, I hate being cold, but summertime in the Northland makes it worth it...right? See ya around town and THANKS for listening!

Elton John Hosts ‘Saturday Night Live’ [VIDEOS]

Elton John put on a show as host of  Saturday Night Live this weekend, marking only his second appearance on the long running sketch comedy show.

In his opening monologue, John proclaimed Òthe bitch is backÓ before launching into a series of jokes about his new baby boy, whom John said was born with Òten fingers, ten toes, and $400 million dollars.Ó John also joked about Lady Gaga being his sonÕs (named Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John) godmother.

As for the actual sketches, many seemed to rely on jokes about JohnÕs British roots, his flamboyant stage persona and his sexuality, including one sketch titled ÔThe Old West,Õ in which John played, well, a flamboyant cowboy. (Really, can you blame the writers? WeÕre still trying to figure out why John hosted in the first place.)

Montana Rep. Alan Hale Defends Drunk Driving [VIDEO]

Montana Republican Congressman Alan Hale is apparently courting a new (and hopefully small) group of voters: drunk drivers.

Yep, this week, Hale actually argued against a new House Bill that according to the Missoulian would allow courts in Montana to "look back to impaired driving offenses up to 10 years old when someone is being punished for a drunk-driving charge, a change from the current five-year cutoff."

Hale's argument? DUI laws are "destroying a way of life that has been in Montana for years and years" and that they are not doing small businesses any good.

Inmates’ Coloring Books Painted With Drugs [VIDEO]

Three inmates at the Cape May County Correctional Center in New Jersey wanted their drugs so badly, they used a children's coloring book to sneak them into their prison cells. We hate to give criminals so much credit, but the whole process was undeniably ingenious.

With the help of two civilians, the inmates painted numerous coloring books with what looked to be water color, but was actually a liquid version of a drug called Suboxone. They would have gotten away with it, but in February officers at the correction center were tipped off and began testing the books for drug substances.
