Altered Garbage Schedule For City Of Superior Due To Thanksgiving Holiday

Thursday, November 24 is Thanksgiving Day.  In accordance with standard operating procedure, the City of Superior is altering their garbage pickup schedule to allow city employees the chance to be with their families.

All City offices, the Public Works Office, and the municipal landfill will be closed on both Thursday and Friday, November 24 and 25.

Here's how those changes will affect residents:

• Residents with a normal Monday pickup:  There will be no change to the schedule.
• All other residents are asked to have their garbage containers out at the usual pickup spot two days earlier than normal.

The Hartels/DBJ recycling schedule will not change for the Thanksgiving holiday.
