A Little Girl With A Brain Tumor Wants Letters From Your Dog

Emma Mertens, a 7-year-old girl from Hartland WI, she has an inoperable brain tumor, and all she wants is letters from Dogs.

The tumor is called a diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma. According to my buddy, Ross, the current long term survival of this tumor is basically zero. So, when I read that all she wants is letters from dogs, I thought this is a chance to brighten a little girl's world and all it takes is a little imagination.

I'm sure she didn't think it would catch fire on the internet or that a bunch of people from Duluth, MN would write letters from their dogs, nor did her parents. Working close with St Jude for all these years it sure would make her day. Kids shouldn't have to deal with this and parents shouldn't have to lose a child.

Here is what you do. Pretend you are a dog, what does your day consist of? Imagine dog things and what kind of dog are you. When you have finished your letter, send it to this address.
