If you're looking for a way to properly dispose of old or unused prescription medications - here's your chance.  The Western Lake Superior Sanitary District is holding their final collection event for the year - on Friday, October 14 at their location at 27th Avenue West - east of the I-35 freeway.

Between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, residents can drop off their unwanted prescriptions to be properly disposed of.

Participants are asked to keep the prescriptions in their original containers.  If the pills or drugs have become separated from the original container, you're asked to clearly write the name of the medication on it.  If desired you can use a marker to cross off any personal information.
