It's a question that many parents have - especially those whose children ride the school bus in the cold, snowy winter months:  Where is the school bus?  A one-month trial run of GPS technology in the school buses that serve the Superior School District might bring the ability to always know a little closer to reality.

The test of technology for the district will see the units installed in each of their 25 buses.  Although the system will not be available for parents to access during this trial run, the plans would be to make that a possibility in the future.  District officials plan to use the test process to work out any bugs or glitches there may be in the system.  If all goes well - and the school board approves the costs associated - parents would be able to access "pin-point" data as to where exactly the bus carrying their child is.
