What Should You Wear For School Pictures? A Texas School Teacher Wears The Same Outfit For Forty Years In a Row

Talk about getting use out of a set of clothes!

A Richardson, Texas Physical Education teacher has worn the same set of clothes for his school yearbook photo for 40 years in a row!

The situation came about by accident.  In 1974, Dale Irby noticed that he had mistakenly worn the same outfit he had had on the year before.  So, when school picture time came in 1975, he decided to accept a dare by his wife to wear it again.  Irby made that same decision again 38 times - making 2014 the 40th year that he has worn the polyester shirt and brown sweater.
