Sometimes you wonder what inspires some of the music that inspires you. REO Speedwagon is one of those bands for me. Kevin Cronin is one of the main songwriters and lead singer. What does he remember, you'd be surprised.

Cronin says his first music memory is also his first life memory. He was put in front of the piano and started playing, everyone thought he could play because the keys he chose to bang on were in a chord and he was playing "in time". That moment is a good memory for him, and I think, sealed his fate as a musician. Here's Kevin in his own words.
