A main feeder lockout in Hermantown has left many residents in the Cloquet area without power.

Minnesota Power officials are working on the problem, but suggest that it could take up to four hours before crews are able to restore power to the affected areas.

Cloquet Police warn that the problem has been compounded as many traffic signals in the area have also been affected.

Earlier in the day, many Duluth residents - largely in  the Lincoln Park and Duluth Heights neighborhoods - along with houses in Hermantown also experienced a disruption in their electrical service.
