Water Main Break Repair At Superior + 13th East On Jan 28

Drivers who utilize the eastern ends of Superior Street will encounter a closed road and work crews on Tuesday, January 28 during the daytime hours.  Officials with the City of Duluth are alerting the general public about the work that's scheduled to occur on Superior Street between 13th Avenue East and 14th Avenue East - between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The one-block closure will allow city crews the chance to repair the water break.

At the onset, the city doesn't believe that water service for surrounding businesses will be affected by the repair work.  They also anticipate that the work should progress according to their initial timelines - however - like any utility work, the weather or unforeseen factors can hinder the timeliness of the repair.
