See what all the hype is about!  The film Green Book recently walked away with five awards at the 2018 Academy Awards (Oscar) presentation - including the recognition for Best Picture.  Now, you have the chance to see the movie for free!

It's part of the regularly-scheduled movies that are shown at the Superior Public Library.  As part of their February and March Oscar-theme, the library has Green Book scheduled for showing on Monday, March 25 - starting at 6:00 PM.  While the screening was planned in advance of the Oscar telecast - and the films winnings - it's now a great way to catch up on the film that everyone has been talking about.

In addition to Best Picture, Green Book also won awards for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Film Editing.

Like all of their film presentations, the screening of Green Book is free - and open to the public.  The movie is rated PG-13.  During the film, the Superior Public Library will serve light snacks for your enjoyment.

In addition to the showing of Green Book, you can also catch a screening of Shoplifters (rated R) on February 25, followed by the film Instant Family (rated PG-13) on March 11.  Each of these films also start at 6:00 PM.
