Umpires Wanted By The City Of Duluth

Have some fun this summer and get paid to watch softball.  The City of Duluth is looking for additional umpires for this upcoming season.  Interested candidates must attend a clinic that will happen on Saturday, April 5.

All interested new and returning umpires must attend the USSA softball clinic which will be held on Saturday, April 5 at 9:00 a.m. at the Buffalo House located at 2590 Guss Road (exit 245 off I-35). The cost for the clinic and the USSA registration fee is $70 payable the day of the clinic.

The make up date will be held on Thursday, April 10 at Wheeler Field from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. New umpires are required to attend both workshops.  For additional information, call Bernie Zylka at (218) 348-4464.

Umpires that get hired by the city will earn $25 per one-hour game at Wheeler Field.
