Traffic On Blatnik Bridge Backed Up, Heavy Law Enforcement Presence On Bridge

Superior-bound traffic on the Blatnik Bridge is backed up, and roadway is down to one lane as a heavy police presence is on the scene. MNDOT is reporting a traffic slowdown on those southbound lanes.

Traffic cameras on the bridge have shown occasional backups down to near Garfield Avenue, but traffic has been moving fairly steadily during this incident. If possible, taking the Bong Bridge may be an advisable alternative while police are on the scene.
