I'm sure you've seen them in a number of stores while out shopping in the Northland. You've likely seen them when you're actually looking to get something for Halloween. Of course, I'm talking about Christmas displays.

It seems these holiday items are on full display earlier each year. I guess I can see why lights and outdoor decorations are available in the fall as it's the best time to string up those outside lights before it turns too cold or you're even further hindered by snow. But, when is it too soon for the holiday shopping season to begin? Should we wait until the day after Thanksgiving? According to Target Stores, the answer is no. In fact, get started now.

Target Deal Days have begun and, according to Target, this 3-day event features over half a million holiday gifting deals across the latest toys, electronics, and video games, big savings in beauty, food and beverage, and everyday essentials, and new offerings from top national and only-at-Target brands.

“We’re excited to bring the Target holiday magic to help guests get into the spirit of the season with our first holiday savings event. They’ll find some of our best deals on the newest, must-have items and the essentials they need every day,” said Christina Hennington, executive vice president and chief growth officer, Target.
