Tired of the same old solid color eggs every year for Easter? It's an Egg-Splosion in Lincoln Park!! Here's a way to have a little family fun and learn some new egg dying techniques. Tie-dyeing and Marbling will be featured and then kids will get a chance to launch egg into a field with a wrist rocket. Sound like fun?

Northern Expressions Arts Collective, Rock Hill Community Church and Engage Church are working together to plan the 4th Annual Lincoln Park Egg-Splosion event on April 15th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Harrison Park and Community Center (3002 West 3rd Street). Prizes will be awarded for both egg decorating and egg launching.

A light breakfast will be served, and volunteers will also be on hand to help create a special Easter story craft. This event is free to the community, thanks to the generosity of local businesses who have contributed to make it possible.

If you are planning on going, the Northern Expressions Arts Collective facebook page is asking you to save your empty egg cartons!! Most kids dye 3-4 eggs and only launch one, that way they have something to carry the rest home in

According to a press release from Northern Expressions Arts Collective is an organization dedicated to using the arts to serve the community through children’s programming, community event planning and many other programs available to the community. You can find them creating art with children and families all over the Twin Ports, partnering with organizations such as Community Action Duluth, CHUM and the Duluth and Superior Public Libraries.

Rock Hill Community Church and Engage Church meet in the Lincoln Park Community and are both dedicated to finding creative ways to serve their community. This is the fourth year of partnership with Rock Hill on this event, and the second year for Engage Church.
