‘The Simon & Garfunkel Story’ Comes To Duluth’s DECC Symphony Hall This November
If you're a fan of the legendary musical duo Simon & Garfunkel, you won't want to miss this!
A concert-style theater show called 'The Simon & Garfunkel Story' is making a stop in the Twin Ports this fall as part of a nationwide tour. The show chronicles the history and music Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, from their early beginnings to the peak of their stardom as one of the best-selling music groups of the 1960's, leading up to their split in 1970.
The experience uses state-of-the-art video projection along with photos and original film footage to immerse the audience in in all things Simon & Garfunkel, which also includes a full live band performing all of their hits like 'Mrs. Robinson', ‘Cecilia’, ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’, ‘Homeward Bound’ and many more.
'The Simon & Garfunkel Story' culminates with the famous “The Concert in Central Park” reunion in 1981, where more than half a million fans were in attendance.
The show will be happening at the DECC Symphony Hall at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, November 10. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Ticketmaster and at the DECC ticket office at 10:00 am on Friday, September 24 - but KOOL 101.7 listeners have the chance to get tickets before everyone else with a special ticket presale!
The presale is Thursday, September 23 from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, and all you need to do is use the special presale code SOUND on the Ticketmaster website for the DECC show.
