How The Other Place Serves the Best of the Best (with Top Safety Precautions)
We're hearing the new jalapeno cheese rolls at The Other Place are AMAZING. They're made from scratch and you just have to try them.
But what would you expect from the spot that captured so many of the Duluth News Tribune's Best of the Best awards: best bar, best sports bar, best bartender and server and best county bar? They really do it all ... breakfast, great lunch and dinner options, a full bar, awesome televisions to watch sports and live music. Plus, all their pizzas are handmade and fresh (never frozen.)
Since the coronavirus has changed so many aspects of our lives, The Other Place has gone above and beyond to adapt to the new circumstances so patrons can feel safe eating and drinking there. They have separated tables and limited each table to groups of four or fewer. They offer disposable menus and received excellent grades on independent and voluntary inspections from the St. Louis County Health Department — and that was on top of meeting all the requirements of the Minnesota Department of Health.
They are presently limiting themselves to 50 percent capacity, but rest assured, they are open for extended hours and now offer breakfast on the weekends. Their hours are:
