Need ideas for making it on a tight budget?  Wondering how to set spending priorities for 2014?  A series of workshops on Saturday, February 8 will help you on your way to planning for your taxes.

Sue DeNio - Family and Community Support Educator of University of Wisconsin-Extension Service in Douglas County - will be leading mini-workshops at the Super Saturday Tax preparation Event to be held at the Northwest Wisconsin Community Services Agency, located at 1118 Tower Avenue in Superior.

If you would like to receive tax assistance, you must call ahead to NWCSA to reserve a time.  However, the following workshops are open to the public and do not require pre-registration:

  • 9:30AM-5:30PM and 12:00-12:20PM:  Ideas for a Tight Budget
  • 10:15AM-10:35AM and 1:00PM-1:20PM:  Emergency Funds:  How Can I Find One
  • 11:00AM-11:20AM and 2:15PM-2:35PM:  Spending Priorities for the Next Year.
