A series of strong storms swept through the Twin Ports region yesterday, including an afternoon storm that brought gusty winds and small hail to Duluth around lunchtime. Later in the day, a severe thunderstorm about 70 miles west of Duluth touched down near Remer, and tracked southeast toward Hill City.
