There's a new Gatorade commercial that not only shows what kind of person Peyton Manning was, but encourages you to tell other people how much you respect them, or like them, or are proud of them. It's more than an email, it's a hand written letter that let's that person know they matter.
According to a recent poll, one in four Americans believe God has an influence over who wins sporting games. That praying helps shove those odds up even higher, or so they say. Half of Americans that took the poll, said God rewards sports stars that are religious and pray often. Ok, so how do you explain Tim Tebow? He is still trying to get back in the NFL.
Would you recognize a star in the public? I don't know if I would. I started combing the internet for videos of stars in disguise. Did they fool anyone, they did, every time. Maybe it's the fact that we expect stars to be a certain way, and when we are confronted with the character they are playing, we don't see them.
There is always a football player that has to ham it up in the end zone to celebrate a score. Remember the "Dirty Bird"? With the Super Football Game coming up on Sunday, I thought it would be fun to see the evolution of end zone celebrations.
