St. Louis County Commissioners have put they money where their mouth is in regards to fighting aquatic invasive species.  At a recent meeting, they approved funding that totals more than $420,000 to be used to fight and limit the spread throughout the counties lakes and rivers.

The local battle against Aquatic Invasive Species just received a boost.  Commissioners with Saint Louis County have approved the distribution of $750,000 of state funds to prevent the introduction and limit the spread of these hazards in northland lakes and rivers.
