‘Star Wars’ is leading the pack at the Emmys.

The Emmy-nominated script for the ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 finale is now online, and it may reveal the fate of two characters.

Despite declining ratings, this year’s Emmy ceremony went off with nary a hitch, even affording some refreshing upsets in the usual pool of repeat winners. Jimmy Kimmel too did a perfectly serviceable job keeping things moving, but naturally made a few gaffes in production of that opening sketch, the blooper reel of which you can watch right now.

Seeing as the Emmy awards rotate broadcast networks from year to year, it seemed likely that Jimmy Kimmel might suit up to host the awards once the wheel landed on ABC. Good guess, everyone! The network has officially confirmed that the Jimmy Kimmel Live! host will don his tux later this year.

The 2015 Emmys are upon us, hosted by Brooklyn Nine-Nine star and SNL alum Andy Samberg, and the competition is arrestingly steep. Will this be Mad Men‘s year? What about Tatiana Maslany? Looks like it was another one of those 'Modern Family'-centric years, right? ABC's hit took home the 2014 Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series, as it did in 2013, 2012, 2011 ... oh, and in 2010, too!

The 2014 Emmy winners were announced during Monday's awards ceremony, broadcast on NBC and hosted by 'SNL' vet and 'Late Night' show host Seth Meyers. While there are always a fair share of shockers -- like how last year saw 'The Newsroom' star Jeff Daniels beating out Bryan Cranston for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama -- everyone had their eyes on 'Breaking Bad,' given it finished its final season late last year, HBO's breakout hit 'True Detective,' Netflix's 'Orange Is the New Black' and FX's buzzed-about 'Fargo' series.

The 2014 Emmy Awards skewed a little hipper this year, with host Seth Meyers and his army of comedically inclined friends providing more laughs than your average stodgy awards show. However, the ceremony went full internet-friendly when Weird Al Yankovic, hot off the first number one album of his lengthy career, took to the stage to provide your favorite TV shows with the one thing they so desperately need: lyrics.

Apart from all the good spirits of the evening, every Emmys inevitably becomes a somber occasion in honoring those we've lost over the course of the year. Now, with Robin Williams' tragic suicide still weighing on the world at large, the 2014 Emmy Awards have announced that Billy Crystal will step up to honor his fallen friend in the memoriam segment of the evening.
