According to the United States Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration, there are more than 4 million (4,273,027) licensed drivers in Minnesota and most of those people have a Class D driver's license.
During COVID-19 in 2020, many Minnesotans got an extension to renew their drivers license. Now the state is saying that renewals must happen by the end of March.
The Minnesota Department of Public Safety Driver and Vehicle Services says that the written class D test will be available to take online starting this week.
