Steve O'Neil spent his life in Duluth working for Duluth's most vulnerable families. His legacy will continue, as the new apartments and emergency shelter bearing his name. They will not only help those families, but will also help fulfill Duluth's vision of becoming a city that welcomes the stranger, feeds the hungry, and houses the homeless.

Larry Long and his American Roots Revue will bring their inspiring blend of gospel, reggae, Cajun, swing, folk, R&B and rock to this year’s stage show at the 10th Annual CHUM Rhubarb Festival on Saturday, June 28.

More and more people in the Northland are finding that their check isn't going as far as it used to, and are having to lean on food shelves. Based on third quarter statistics, CHUM’s Emergency Food Shelf has seen an increase of 327 families seeking emergency food as compared to the same time period in 2012. During that same time CHUM has had a 48% decrease in cash donations to the Food Shelf. Read

It's getting to that time of the season when people forget about food shelves and this is the time of year there is the most need. It starts to get colder and there are many families on the line of deciding between food or heat or healthcare.

One of the great things about living in the northland is the abundance of rhubarb that grows wild;  You'll find it in people's backyards, alongside the road in ditches, and Saturday - you'll find it in the spotlight at the 9th annual CHUM Rhubarb Festival!
