Blatnik Bridge

If you live, work, or play in the City of Superior - get ready for some road construction over the next four years - a LOT of road construction. Officials from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, along with the Superior-Douglas County Chamber of Commerce and the Superior Business Improvement District are alerting motorists to what they can expect and ways in which they can get around easie

If you've noticed that one of Duluth's skyline features is dark, you're not seeing things;  The decorative lights on the Blatnik Bridge have been turned off - as workers perform maintenance on the bridge span.

Drivers who take the Blatnik Bridge to Duluth from Superior will have to use an alternative route this summer.  The scheduled closure of the northbound lanes is happening May 14th.
