According to PopCrush, the iconic leather jacket that Michael Jackson wore in his famous ‘Thriller’ video sold for $1.8 million over the weekend at Julien’s Music Icons auction. The jacket went to bidder Milton Verret, a Texas-based commodities trader, who says he will show the jacket “around the country in a tour that will help raise money for children’s charities.”

Fifty-six years later, Marilyn Monroe is still worth a lot of money – $5.6 million, to be exact. According to CNN, Monroe’s iconic dress from the 1955 Billy Wilder movie ‘The Seven Year Itch’ sold for that amount Saturday night at an auction in Beverly Hills, California.
