A lot of people have started the conversion from incandescent light bulbs to LED versions; from energy-efficiency to a longer life expectancy, the benefits are many.  To make the conversion a little easier for Northland residents, a local utility is offering an exchange event to swap out those incandescent and halogen bulbs for LED's.

Superior Water Light and Power invites customers to an Open House - Wednesday, August 7 - 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Barkers Island Inn in Superior.  Those in attendance will have the opportunity to exchange up to 12 of their incandescent and halogen bulbs for Energy Star-certified LED bulbs.  The event is being sponsored by Focus On Energy as part of their mission to offer information, services, and financial incentives to help Wisconsin residents select and install cost-effective solutions that save energy and money.
