Superior’s Latest Pizza Place ‘Ride Or Die’ Review
My wife and I went out on a date night and I was craving pizza. We have our normal favorite places to go, but we were feeling adventurous so we thought we'd try somewhere different. I've driven by Ride Or Die Pizzeria a few times and thought why not try it. I checked out their menu online and saw some of their specialty pizzas and they looked pretty good.
Ride Or Die Pizzeria is located at 1623 Broadway Street in Superior. For those familiar, it's where Thirsty Pagan used to be, but you wouldn't recognize the inside now. They've got a pool table, slot machines, darts, large seating area, and a full bar.
We ordered a few drinks and an order of boneless chicken wings as an appetizer. They had several flavors like the classic buffalo, teriyaki, sweet chili, and others. We ordered my favorite Parmesan Garlic and I'll have to say they were pretty good.
Like just about every restaurant anywhere right now, help is in short supply. As patrons we need to be patient because all of these places are dying to get workers and when they do get them they need to train them in. The manager mentioned to us that she was training in a bunch of cooks that day. Still the service wasn't slow and we got our pizza in a reasonable amount of time.
This is where it really shines, because I honestly loved the pizza. We got a Ride Or Die Specialty pizza which was sausage, pepperoni, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and olives. We skipped the mushrooms because of my wife's preference. It smelled so good I forgot to take a picture until we were almost halfway done with it.
I'm a big fan of cauliflower crust, and if you haven't tried it you definitely should. There cauliflower crust was really good. Their regular crust we saw on other people's pizzas looked good too. The toppings were very flavorful, good sauce, generous amount of toppings, and a well cooked pizza. It's just my kind of pizza, and I'll definitely be getting it again.
So if you've been wondering, give them a shot. It's good pizza, it's not too pricey, and it's another new business you can support in town.
