Summer's here and - sure - everyone should be spending as much time as they can outdoors.  But summer can also be a good time to have the kids unplug and spend less time on their electronics.  A great way to promote that is with a good book; the Superior Public Library's Summer Reading program makes it easy to encourage those reading habits.

The program runs through the end of August, so there's still plenty of time to take part.  Participation is free and is open to young kids and teenagers.  Prizes are awarded based upon the number of books read and age levels.  Kids can win toys, stickers, World of Wheels Skate Center passes, free Pizza Hut pizza, space food, and more.

To take part in the Summer Reading Program, just stop by the Superior Public Library; ask for a reading log at the Youth Services Desk and start reading!  To learn more about this program or any of the special events going on at the Superior Public Library, click here.
