Superior Looks For Input On Playground Program

Make your voice heard!  The City of Superior is looking for input from the public on their City Playground Program that runs during the summer months.  In order to solicit a response, they've scheduled a meeting for Thursday, May 10 - starting at 6:00 PM - at the Superior City Council Chambers - located in the Government Services Center at 1314 N 14th Street.

General comments are welcome in addition to input on the changes already scheduled for this summers program.  Specifically, the city would like conversation about the following topics:

• Field trip locations
• Locations for the Playground Program
• Activities
• Snacks and lunches
• Length of the program
• Fees

Superior's City Playground Program offers a balance of scheduled and free-play activities and events for children during the summer months.  The current program runs 8 weeks at a variety of sites throughout the city of Superior.  Participants are also offered a snack and lunch and are monitored by employees who direct the program.
