Superior Library Announces Merry Little Christmas Book Sale

The announcement was made on their Facebook page and includes some bestsellers, cookbooks, children's books, non-fiction, and more.

There are a lot of people that have gone to books on tape or cd, the Audible service online where you can stream your favorite books. This is the old fashioned book, that you turn the pages. The sale is put on by the Friends of Superior Public Library.

The sale will be held at the library on Friday, December 4 from noon to 5 pm, and also on Saturday, December 5 from 10 am to 1 pm. The library will be open during those times to sell books but reminds people it will not be open to the public for any library services.

The Superior Public Library wants you to know these are new and suitable for Christmas Gifts. People are reminded to have clean hands and wear masks and of course, the Superior Public Library will be practicing safe social distancing.

When I talked to someone at the Library they said if there are too many people they will make you stand in line outside, but they have not had that happen yet. They are going to have reused plastic bags but encourage you to bring your own because they may run out.

As far as paying for the purchase, the Library person I spoke to said they do not have a card reader so they are only accepting cash or check at this time. If you are planning to pay by check, they said to make sure you have the proper I.D.
