Study Reveals Musical Tastes and Personality Traits Closley Related

I ran across a study the other day I thought was pretty cool. These cats in in Heriot Watt University in the UK headed up by Professor Adrian North, researched 36,000 people and found that their musical tastes and personality types are closely related.

The study suggests classical music fans are shy, where heavy metal lovers are gentle and at ease with themselves. Indie fans have low self esteem and don't seem to work very hard. Rap fans on the other hand have very high self esteem and are outgoing. Country fans are both hardworking and outgoing, while Pop fans have very high esteem, are not creative, but are hardworking and outgoing. Reggae fans tend to be very creative, but not hardworking.
