The methods and means of stormwater pollution prevention in St. Louis County are many.  Over the past few years officials have made great strides towards keeping runoff from reaching our lakes, rivers, and streams.  They've also learned a lot along the way.

In an effort to showcase the past years successes and to pass along that information, St. Louis County is holding a recap during their annual meeting on stormwater pollution prevention - scheduled for Tuesday, September 24.  The meeting will happen from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Minnesota Department of Transportation headquarters in Duluth:  1123 Mesaba Avenue.

Attendees can expect a wealth of information.  On the schedule are representatives from the cities of Duluth and Hermantown, MNDOT, St. Louis County; in addition - Lake Superior College and the University of Minnesota-Duluth will provide information about their current efforts to reduce stormwater pollution along with their goals for the coming year.  The session is being organized by members of the Regional Stormwater Protection Team.
