St. Louis County Forum Studys Link Between E-Cigs And Mental Health
As traditional cigarette use declines, there has been a rise in the prevalence of vaping and E-Cigarette models which deliver the same nicotine dose that tobacco does - perhaps even higher. As government and school agencies determine their best practices in regards to the health issues involved, there has been a movement to deliver information to the general public. A scheduled forum in Eveleth on Wednesday, February 6 aims to do just that.
The forum - "E-Cigarettes and Mental Health Community Solutions" - is a presentation of the St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services division; it's co-sponsored by the offices of Commissioners Keith Nelson ad Mike Jugovich as well as Essentia Health. Attendees can expect a discussion about E-cigarettes and their rising popularity, nicotine addiction, treatment options, and a conversation about community solutions.
The forum is free to the general public. A light dinner will be served before the presentation begins.
