Southwest Saint Louis County Fair Happens August 23-25 In Floodwood

It's fair season!  Lovers of fried foods, carnival rides, animals, and music need to look no further than Floodwood this weekend as the Southwest St Louis County Fair happens Friday through Sunday, August 23-25.

Here's what's on tap this year:

• Friday, August 23 is Entry Day.  There's also music from Casey Arro and a coronation of the Floodwood Queen.
• Saturday, August 24 brings a full day of fair fun.  The Mary Hall Show for Pipsqueeks will perform, along with the Comical Misadventures of Mr. Punch, the Mary Hall Show-Nostalgic Novelty, and there will be an exhibit of items used in the filming of Iron Will.
• Sunday, August 25 brings the parade at 1PM, followed by the music of Gary Powell and His Cowboy Outfit.
