Snow Blows Snowblower Giveaway Rules 2019

KOOL 101.7 is giving away a new Ariens Deluxe 28” Snowblower from Duluth Lawn and Sport, valued at $1200. In order to win, submit your guess for how much snow Duluth will have received this season (September 30, 2019-December 15, 2019) by the end of the day December 15, 2019. Guesses are submitted on the contest page on kool1017.com, or on the KOOL 101.7 mobile app.

Submissions must be entered via our website or mobile app before 11:59 pm on December 11, 2019 to be considered in this contest. The person with the closest guess will be named the winner of the grand prize (snowblower). In the event of multiple people having the same correct guess, a drawing among all individuals with that guess will be held to name a singular winner. The winner will be verified and notified via the contact information they provide on our contest page. In the event the winning contestant is unable to be reached within one week of the contest end date, a new winner will be selected among the next closest guesses submitted.

Official snow measurements will be from the Duluth International Airport, as recorded by the National Weather Service.  In the event that there's a snowstorm on December 15, the total will be calculated after the snow ends for that particular storm.  If more than one person guesses the same snowfall amount, all of the correct guesses will be pooled into a tie-breaking drawing from those names. The snowfall amount calculated is how much snow precipitation is received at the Duluth National Weather Service office, not how much snow is on the ground.
