Many people in the Northland take the pledge to make sure no one goes hungry seriously. Often, this is the time of year that area food shelves start to see diminished resources; the attention that they get during the holiday season has waned, however the need is still there.

Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank has announced that the funds they receive during the month of March are open to being matched by the Minnesota Foodshare March Campaign.  Thus, the financial contributions received during this month will be able to go further in the efforts to maintain healthy food on the table of every Northlander.

Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank maximizes the monies they receive on a regular basis.  According to collateral information released by the organization, they are able to make every $10.00 donation provide $70.00 worth of groceries through distribution and rescue.  Click here to learn more about their mission and ways that you can help out.
