Saturday Morning At The Races Starts In January

Children ages 14 and under are invited to attend the first event in this youth race series, completely free of charge.

Winter weather makes it hard to get outside and be active sometimes, this gives youth a place to run.You're invited to join the Young Athletes Foundation (YAF) for Saturday Morning at the Races.

2019 Schedule

January 5 – College of St. Scholastica
January 26 – University of Wisconsin Superior
February 9 – University of Minnesota Duluth
Registration: starts at 9 a.m.
Start Time: Races start at 10 a.m.
Age level: 14 and Under
Length: Distances vary based on age from approx. 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile

In addition to participating in a fun run around the indoor track, kids will enjoy meeting mascots from the respective schools, as well as Duluth Huskies mascot “Harley D. Huskie! Children receive a free t-shirt at each race!

*Please note that outside shoes must be removed before entering the track area. No one, including parents, will be permitted entrance in street shoes.
