Rod Stewart has lived a colorful life, and fans will get a chance to dig a little deeper into his story via the new book ‘Rod: The Autobiography.”

Stewart has enjoyed a five-decade career that included stints in such influential acts as the Jeff Beck Group and the Faces before he eventually found his greatest commercial success as a solo artist.

The man who once asked ‘Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?’ apparently found a lot of “yes” answers to that musical question, as he wed three times and is the father of eight children. In addition to his personal life, the book promises to take the readers through some of his greatest accomplishments, including receiving the Grammy Living Legend award back in 2007.

Vintage Vinyl News reports that Stewart’s has grossed over $250 million from his album and single sales alone, with such hits as ‘Maggie May,’ ‘Tonight’s the Night,’ and ‘Hot Legs’ still wafting over the airwaves.

As for his future? Stewart’s been working with producer David Foster on a Christmas album that’s expected to arrive this fall. ‘Rod: The Autobiography’ arrives in stores Oct. 23 through Crown Archetype.
