Registration For Cub Scouts Starts Now

It's Fall and the Cub Scouts are looking for kids who are interested to sign up.

George Rennan was in to talk about what the scouts do and why he enjoys working with kids and scouting. He says they do things that make them better people. He says he leads by example and likes to know he is making a difference. He believes in the program, he said he started when his kids were in scouting and stayed on because he wanted the program in his neighborhood to survive.

George is part of Pack 9 and they do all sorts of activities and prides himself on being one of the only packs that invite siblings to go to meetings and get involved. This way it becomes a family thing to do.

There is early information and sign up meeting this Thursday the 12 of September for Pack 5 at Glen Avon Church on Woodland ave.
