A variety of poultry (chicken and turkey) products sold as "ready-to-eat" are being recalled due to listeria concerns.  According to the United States Department of Agriculture, the products are sourced from Tip Top Poultry, Inc. located in Rockmart, Georgia and sold all over the United States.  Some of the products are entrees, some are dips, others are being sold as chicken salads - but the common element is that the chicken or turkey is being sold as "ready-to-eat".

The products are commonly found in stores under a variety of names.  The following is a list of some of the brand names affected, with those more-common to our area listed first:

  • Sysco Classic
  • Members Mark
  • Park Street Deli - Aldi
  • Trader Joe's
  • Archer Farms
  • Resers
  • Deli Express

Other brand names include Duke,  Five Points Deli, Clean Eatz, Don's Salads, Spring Glen Fresh Foods, Meyers, Nutrisystem, Premo Fresh, Fresh Grab, Private Selection, Cuisine Adventures, Backpacker's Pantry, St. Clair, Cape Cod, Favazza Specialty Foods, Schnucks, ASK Foods, Sycamore Farms, Gordon Choice, Molly's Kitchen, Market, Speedy Good To Go, San Luis, Country Maid, West Creek, Tip Top, H. Walker Foods, Clean Eatz Cafe, New Zant Delizous Farms, R.W.
