The next round of Prince reissues, which was originally set to arrive on April 17, have been postponed until May 29 as a result of the coronavrius pandemic.

This wave revisist the years 2001-02, during which time he put out The Rainbow Children and the One Nite Alone... series.

All of the records are being released on CD and vinyl, with The Rainbow Children coming on clear vinyl with a rainbow slipmat included, and the One Nite Alone... records being issued on purple vinyl.

Released in 2001, The Rainbow Children was his first album after his return to his birth name after spending much of the '90s with the Love Symbol as his name. It's been suggested that the entire record is a full-length allegory for the conversion to the Jehovah's Witnesses that was going on in his life at the time.

Its follow-up, One Nite Alone...: Solo Piano and Voice by Prince, was his first effort to be released exclusively via the NPG Music Club. Its tour spawned Prince's first-ever official live albums, One Nite Alone... Live! and One Nite Alone... The Aftershow: It Ain't Over, which were packaged together in 2002. They are now being sold separately, with Live! being available on two CDs or four LPs, and The Aftershow arriving on one CD and two LPs.

A box set with all four One Nite Alone.... CDs and 2002's Live at the Aladdin DVD will also be compiled in a box set called Up All Night With Prince: One Nite Alone Collection. You can pre-order The Rainbow Children and the One Nite Alone releases at his webstore.
