You might have to start checking the clocks you take for granted. A proposed change to the nation's power grid system may start to make those electronic clocks that take their cues from the electric cycle run fast....up to 20 minutes fast.

Since 1930, the nation's power system has been regulated for consistency;  This consistency has been harnessed by electronic clock makers to help keep their time-pieces running on time.    But, those regulations cost money and take extra effort.  The proposed changes would do away with the regimented nature of our power system.
