Hey grads - you could get free pizza this week, thanks to a new promotion from Pizza Hut.

The chain is giving away 500,000 pizzas to graduates who are missing out on their big ceremony due to COVID-19. They shared the news on their Instagram page with a fun video. Check it out below:

Here's how it works: head to their website and log in using your rewards account. From there, you can claim a free medium pizza with one topping. If you are not a rewards member, you can sign up for an account on the same page.

The free pizza is only available through THIS Thursday, May 28th so if you are a graduating senior, get it while it's hot! No pun intended. The offer may end sooner if all 500,000 free pizzas are claimed.

In order to cash in, you not only have to be a graduating senior but you must be a legal resident and at least 13 years of age. (Which, I assume won't be a problem unless you are a super genius!) You can only order one pizza per rewards account.

It should be noted that you can claim your pizza before submissions close on the 28th but have the option to receive it anytime between when you claim it and Thursday, June 4th.

This story reminded me of one from November of last year when two Wisconsinites caused a scene at their local Pizza Hut. The story is absolutely wild.
